Region:Emerald Mountain
Manufacturer:F.N.C.
Altitude:1,650 - 1,700 MASL
Regarded as a national treasure of Colombia, Emerald Mountain coffee beans are among the rarest coffee-growing regions in the world. The Andes Mountains, the longest mountain range in the world, provide the ideal environment for coffee cultivation, with all farming done by hand. Each bean is processed under the strict control of the FNC (Federación Nacional de Cafeteros de Colombia), meeting near-perfect standards through meticulous sorting and repeated cupping tests before being allowed to bear the Emerald Mountain name. Emerald Mountain features a classic balanced flavor that has captured the hearts of coffee enthusiasts. Since the 1980s, it has been immensely popular in Japan. This Emerald Mountain coffee belongs to the highest grade of the largest coffee beans, known as Excelso Premium.
